911 Restoration of Hampton Roads gives Thanks and Turkeys
Hank Miller, the generous owner of 911 Restoration of Hampton Roads, has once again helped set up a food drive to make sure everyone has a turkey for thanksgiving. Hank supports The True Bread Organization with Troy Davis through Vineyard Community Church in which he organizes food drives and more to help the less fortunate.
Hank is the living embodiment of the fresh start attitude, being the difference he wants to see in the world. He understands Thanksgiving is not about the food, but about giving. It is the start of the holiday season and we are proud of Hank for showing everyone the true spirit of the holidays.
This year’s festivities included handing out grocery bags of mashed potatoes, turkeys, and more, with one donor providing as many as 38 turkeys. It was a great turn out and 911 Restoration is always looking for ways to help the community.
If you would like to donate or volunteer for living bread, you can join us at Baker Crossing Park in the Lake Edwards Neighborhood on Saturday, November 26th at 9AM. In addition to food assistance, True Bread also provides clothing and individualized prayer to those in need. Feel free to show up and lend a hand.
Hank Miller lives by a simple saying: “What is the greatest kindness? Doing what you know is right and willing to suffer as a result. That is true kindness.” He says, “My latest personal goal is to go to the extreme to help people in need, no matter what it cost. “
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, from 911 Restoration of Hampton Roads.
